Phase 1 of PRESTO PDCA launch complete at Pétanque NXT
Pétanque is the lesser known game of boules. It requires a team of skilled, agile and thoughtful players. With an aggressive 2022 global strategic expansion initiative, product enhancement requirement portfolio and digital transformation deployment plan, the team at Pétanque NXT joined our PRESTO family early in 2021 to connect it's multi-region team of 26 staff members in the daily management of their large portfolio of strategic initiatives and in-course client on boarding activities.
Pétanque partners with companies who want to understand and integrate the new 4IR-driven possibilities in order to reduce cost, improve how they serve their customers and ensure their leadership position in the new business landscape. The team is specialised in drawing out fresh ideas to revitalise its clients while using a robust change management framework and bringing deep knowledge of process and project management to ensure timely execution delivery.

Initially starting with the Senior Management team and eventually engaging the staff, a few hours per week and a couple of workshops was all that was needed to get the entire Management Team actively engaged using PRESTO on a daily basis for task management while building the foundation to their performance governance program consisting of an aggressive portfolio of KPIs and OKRs (organisational key results).

Being based in South Africa and The Netherlands, Pétanque NXT's first objective was to utilise PRESTO to address the administrative burden associated with all the outstanding internal and client deliverables supporting their transformation management program.
In the first 3 months of the launch, the core project team was able to adequately complete all scheduled exercises and train all in-scope staff members. PRESTO's dashboard for managers offered increased visibility and clarity into when project owners should be planning and when they should be doing. Furthermore, via PRESTO's enhanced RACI matrix and alert messaging system, team members became more proactive so senior management receives updates instead of chasing them.
