Belgian leader in security surveilance services chooses PRESTO to manage business acquisition of competitor

Protection Unit is a Belgian company established in 2008 and specialising in the supply of security services. Its mission is to anticipate and to respond professionally to the needs of its customers while increasing the satisfaction of staff members by developing their skills, their versatility, their autonomy, their sense of responsibility and their motivation in compliance with quality standards.
In the summer of 2019, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) contacted us to assist their client, Protection Unit with the restructuring of the company as it was merging with its former competitor Fact Group and needed a robust digital solution to capture and catalogue business processes, report KPIs and cascade the long-term strategic vision of the organisation into measurable annual objectives.
The partnership
To support Protection Unit’s 3 major offices (Liege, Brussels & Antwerp), we chose Luxembourg-based MK PM Consulting to take the lead role in the product installation to ensure quality training of the Senior Management Team and accuracy in the data upload consisting of 400 circa new KPIs.
From spreadsheets to real-time, cloud-based performance management
With digital transformation on the top of its agenda and looking for a more effective way to measure and govern daily business activity, Protection Unit chose PRESTO KPI as its KPI management solution to accelerate tactical decision making and remove the risks and administrative burden of using off-line solutions (e.g. spreadsheets) to manage its 350+ KPI portfolio.

- 02Group the portfolio of 350+ KPIs into categories and sub-categories to allow for quicker accessibility to information in times of necessity
- 03Support 16 Division Heads in the handoff and training of the KPI management solution PRESTO
- 04Capture the taxonomy of business processes at the team level allowing team leads to link underperforming KPIs to process optimisation opportunities
- 05Reduce time dedicated by stakeholders to excessive documentation, paperwork and communication
