Choosing A Workflow
Choosing a Workflow is a crucial conceptual exercise within Presto PDCA that lays the foundation for effective task management. We strongly recommend that every new user take the time to thoroughly understand this concept before creating work orders and mapping them to the PDCA dashboard. Presto categorizes business activities into three primary areas: Run the Business, Fix the Business, and Change the Business (Grow the Business). Each category corresponds to a specific type of workflow, with its own dedicated PDCA dashboard, allowing users to report activities accordingly. Understanding these distinctions is vital for separating daily operational tasks (Run the Business) from issue resolution tasks (Fix the Business) and project-based tasks aimed at growth or change (Change the Business). Once this concept is mastered, users can confidently assign and manage workflows using pre-configured templates that align with their business needs, ensuring that every task is managed in the most effective way possible.
