In 2026, TOPP Tactical Intelligence celebrates ten years of turning real-world operational experience into practical digital governance through Presto PDCA.
The software came later. First came years of leading operations, solving problems, managing change, applying Lean thinking and helping teams translate strategy into everyday execution. Presto PDCA grew from the tools, methods and lessons we used in the field - then evolved through a decade of collaboration with organisations of every size, across the globe and across most sectors.

The story behind the software
We did not start as software people.
We started as operators. That distinction still shapes the way we design, implement and support Presto today.
Before Presto PDCA, there was the work.
Before becoming software solution providers and IT consultants, members of our team worked as operational leaders, business analysts, Lean practitioners, problem solvers, project managers and change managers. Our careers were spent helping organisations make work visible, build accountability, remove waste, manage risk and turn improvement ideas into measurable outcomes.
Along the way, we built practical proof-of-concept toolsets to help teams run meetings, manage projects, track KPIs, escalate issues and connect strategy with execution. Those tools worked because they were created around the realities of operating a business - not around a software specification.
In 2016, TOPP Tactical Intelligence was established as a UK limited company. We partnered that field experience with an innovative product-development team and began translating the methods we had used in practice into a connected cloud-based platform. That platform became Presto PDCA.
Presto PDCA was first launched inside a multinational depository bank in Italy, where it was used to help teach Lean thinking across the organisation and turn continuous-improvement principles into a practical day-to-day management system. That first deployment established a pattern we have followed ever since: combine sound operating methods with simple digital governance so people can learn, apply and sustain better ways of working.
Our original question remains the same today.
How do we make good management easier to repeat - across teams, sites, functions and geographies - without burying people in administration?

Presto PDCA began with a practical question inside a multinational depository bank in Italy: how could Lean thinking reach more people and become part of the way everyday work was managed?
This short video captures that early chapter. The original concept was designed to help people recognise opportunities, make problems visible, structure improvement work and connect everyday activity with a repeatable PDCA rhythm.
The platform shown in the video is an earlier generation of Presto PDCA. The product has expanded dramatically since then, but the central philosophy remains: make work visible, clarify accountability, engage people and turn improvement opportunities into structured action.
