External organisations

What are Accounts in Presto?

Accounts give you a structured way to differentiate external organisations that interact with your business and make them available for operational governance and reporting.

Step 1

Access Accounts directly from the PDCA Dashboard.

In the bottom-right Opex area of the dashboard, Presto displays the external account categories configured for your organisation.

The account categories are available from the Opex panel.

Your dashboard shows the account types that have been configured in Presto. Selecting one of these buttons opens the Accounts Management table for that account category.

Open the PDCA Dashboard Navigate to the dashboard and look at the Opex area on the bottom-right side.
  2. 2
Identify the account category Select Clients, Service Providers, Government Regulators or another configured third-party category.
  3. 3
Open the Accounts Management table Click the relevant account-type button to open the detailed account-management panel.
TIP
The number beside each account type is useful context.

It gives users an immediate indication of how many accounts are currently held within that external-account category.

Step 2

Add, edit and maintain Accounts.

Once the Accounts panel is open, administrators can search the current account list, create new accounts and maintain the detailed company information associated with them.

Avoid duplicate organisations

Search the existing account list before creating a new record to keep the company directory clean.
