Set up the organisation.
Establish the company identity and core reference information that other Presto modules rely upon.
Start Company SetupGood administration is more than completing setup screens. Build the company foundation, organise people and reporting lines, give users the right access, and keep the operating model current as the organisation changes.
You do not need to complete every Administration lesson before becoming useful. Start with the responsibility in front of you, then build out the wider skill set.
Establish the company identity and core reference information that other Presto modules rely upon.
Start Company SetupCreate teams, add staff, allocate roles and keep the Org Chart aligned with how the business actually operates.
Start People & TeamsDecide the correct license, organisational reach, dashboards, modules and features for each user.
Start Access & SecurityMove teams, manage matrix relationships, archive obsolete records and keep access aligned as responsibilities change.
Explore Advanced AdministrationThis is the recommended foundation for a new Presto Administrator. It deliberately focuses on the practical screens used most often and leaves specialist or higher-risk administration for the advanced section below.
Company setup → People and teams → Access and permissions.
Presto works best when configuration reflects real accountability rather than simply giving everyone the widest possible access.
Start with what the person or team is responsible for, then configure the structure and access needed to perform that role.
License type, hierarchical reach and module permissions should deliberately match the user's responsibilities rather than convenience.
Teams move, managers change and people leave roles. Administration is an ongoing activity, not a one-time implementation task.
These activities are important, but most new Administrators do not need them on day one. Several are intentionally restricted because they can materially change the organisational model or company-wide configuration.
Move an existing team beneath a new parent or supervisor without rebuilding it.
Admin Open Job Aid →Add secondary or dotted-line reporting relationships without changing the primary hierarchy.
Admin Open Job Aid →Remove obsolete staff records carefully while preserving the integrity of the operating structure.
Admin Open Job Aid →Remove an obsolete organisational team and its dashboard structure using the controlled archive process.
Super Admin Open Job Aid →These settings influence reusable company reference data rather than everyday user administration. They are generally configured less frequently and should be changed deliberately.
Maintain reusable employment or engagement classifications used across staff records.
Super Admin Open Configuration →Maintain the standard titles and grading framework used throughout the organisation.
Super Admin Open Configuration →Prepare reusable organisational talent attributes and differentiators as this capability develops.
Super Admin Explore Feature →Maintain the application catalogue used to describe the organisation's technology landscape.
Super Admin Explore Feature →Not every security task belongs to an Administrator. Users who forget or want to change their own password have a dedicated self-service route.
Use Reset here from the Presto Login Page. This is the preferred recovery route when a user has forgotten their password.
Open the User Profile Menu and select Change Password.
Reduce avoidable Administrator support by helping users understand both password-reset methods.
A well-administered Presto environment mirrors the organisation clearly: the right company information, the right people in the right structure, and the right access for every user.
