Common Platform Features
Control shared capabilities including alerts, help, the Org Chart, contacts, roles and accounts.
The final access-control layer determines what the user can actually use. Configure shared platform features, enable the appropriate dashboards, and tailor the filters, widgets, reports and views available inside the Task and KPI workspaces.
Module and Dashboard Permissions are configured from the same user-permission workspace used for hierarchy settings. Start from the Organisational Chart and open the selected user's Permissions panel.
The Org Chart is the quickest route to the full configuration workspace. Once the correct person or team has been selected, the Permissions control appears in the Team Details panel on the right side of the screen.
Hierarchical Configuration and Module & Dashboard Permissions are managed inside the same Permissions workspace. This page focuses only on the functional permissions that determine what the user can access and use.
The Permissions workspace separates shared platform capabilities from dashboard-specific configuration, allowing each user's workspace to be tailored to their responsibilities.

These permissions determine which common platform tools are available to the selected user regardless of which operational dashboard they are using.

Use Common, Dashboard, Task or KPI defaults to restore the recommended system configuration before tailoring the user's individual access.
Permission changes do not take effect until they are saved. Review the user's Common Features, Dashboard Access, Task Dashboard and KPI Dashboard configuration, then click Save & Close.
License Type determines the broad user profile, Hierarchical Configuration determines where the user can see and work, and Module & Dashboard Permissions determine the functionality available inside that access. Password administration follows once these access settings are in place.
