Automating E-mail & Alert Notifications
Automatic E-mail and Alert Configuration is a highly customizable feature that allows administrators to tailor the frequency and urgency of e-mail and alert messages within Presto PDCA. With this feature, administrators can set up specific cadences and triggers based on the requirements of each workflow. For example, high-profile projects can be configured to send more frequent reminders and alerts to ensure that RACI owners stay on top of their responsibilities, while lower-priority tasks may require fewer notifications. This customization ensures that the right level of attention is given to each task, reducing the likelihood of missed deadlines or overlooked responsibilities. By automating these reminders, Presto helps keep the entire team aligned and accountable, enhancing both efficiency and effectiveness.
The E-Mail Cadence & Critical Warning Configuration Panel
On this panel is where each kanban (activity type/workflow) is configured for alert notifications & e-mails based on RACI accountability ownership allocation
3-Way Configuration
- 1. Project Level: Upon creation, closure or deletion of a project, issue, best practice or standard work activity users will receive e-mails based on RACI accountability. Document & note additions also trigger e-mails
- 2. Task Level: Upon creation, closing or deletion of a task, users will receive e-mails based on RACI accountability
- 3. Warnings: Upon approaching a pre-defined number of days from the due date of a task, users will receive an e-mail
