Creating KPI Records with the
Auto Scheduler (aka timer)
The Auto Scheduler feature in Presto PDCA enables KPI owners to automate the tracking cadence for their KPIs by setting a fixed schedule (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, or annually). Once a cadence is set, the system automatically generates a pending record for each scheduled interval, prompting the KPI owner and any team members assigned in the KPI's RACI matrix to update the KPI. Reminder notifications ensure that KPI updates remain timely and consistent. Users can update KPI values manually, upload data via CSV file, or seamlessly integrate real-time data through API feeds, streamlining the entire process and supporting accurate, regular performance tracking.
Activating the Automatic Scheduler
Use the automatic scheduler to create 'shell' records
that remind your team to update their KPIs in real time
1. Select team
2. Access the KPI Workbench
3. Select KPI
4. Click here to update the scheduler
5. Click here to activate the daily scheduler
6. Select the day of the week to have automatic KPI records created
In this example, we have effectively scheduled the KPI to create a new record for update every Friday.
EXTRA - To schedule a KPI on a 'monthly' timer, use the monthly schedule (see below)
7. Select the day of the week to have automatic KPI records created
