Linking Documents, Media Files, and Collateral to Projects, Issues & Standard Work Task Lists

When managing projects, issues, and standard work in Presto PDCA, it's essential to ensure that all supporting documents, files, and collateral are properly linked. By linking these resources directly to your work, you provide easy access to vital information for both yourself and other team members. This simple step-by-step guide will help you ensure that everyone involved has quick access to the materials needed to support and complete tasks efficiently.

The instructions provided on this page apply specifically to official documents that require formal tracking and governance via the Presto PDCA Document Dashboard. By linking documents here, users are required to classify each new file using Presto's structured 3-tier document taxonomy, ensuring proper organization, version control, and compliance. Looking for a simpler way to share files? If you only need to provide quick-access links or short-term-use documents, please refer to Section 03.01.03 in the Training Showroom, where we cover how to use on-the-fly file sharing via the Note-Taking & File Linking feature.
