Users can hover over the reporting menu tab to reveal a convenient slide-out menu, select their desired report format, and then choose specific projects to display on the dashboard. For a quick overview of all projects, simply double-click the report, and it will open immediately, showing every project on the dashboard in the selected format. These intuitive tools make it easier than ever to switch between different reporting perspectives, ensuring you have the insights you need to drive success.
Below, you'll find detailed explanations of each reporting option and how they can streamline your workflow:

Report 1. PDCA View
Visualize the Change Cycle
The PDCA View report offers a unique and intuitive way to monitor all projects on your dashboard using our ACK-PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT heat map. This heat map visually categorizes projects based on their current phase in the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, with an added ACK (Acknowledge/Approve) phase for managers to provide a go/no-go sign off before planning begins. This view simplifies project tracking, enabling quick identification of bottlenecks or delays in any phase. Use this report to keep your projects aligned with change cycle principles and ensure no phase is overlooked.
Team Leaders begin by creating and organizing task lists tailored to their team's work flows. Each task is then assigned to the appropriate staff members within Presto PDCA, ensuring that everyone is aligned with their responsibilities and deadlines.
Report 2. List View
A Standard Overview
The List View provides a traditional, straightforward list of all projects on your dashboard. This report includes essential project data such as due dates, next task due dates, completion percentage, status, priority, and project owner. This view is perfect for managers who need to quickly scan project statuses, prioritize tasks, or monitor deadlines. It ensures that key information is always at your fingertips, facilitating more informed decision-making.
Report 3. Initiative View
Strategic Insight for PMOs
The Initiative View is designed for Project Management Offices (PMOs) and strategic leaders. This report displays all projects in PDCA format but groups them by the strategic initiatives they support. By aligning projects with overarching goals, this view helps organizations maintain focus on their priorities and assess the progress of initiatives holistically. Use the Initiative View to communicate progress to stakeholders, ensure resource alignment, and drive strategic success.
NOTE: For this report to be active on your dashboard you must first complete the strategy alignment exercise -- see Showroom Exercise 03-03-02.
Report 4. Activity Roadmap View
Your Time line Perspective
The Activity Roadmap View offers a Gantt chart-style visualization of your projects. It displays planned start and finish dates in linear format. This view is invaluable for identifying time line overlaps, resource dependencies, and potential delays. By providing a clear picture of project time lines and their progress, the Activity Roadmap View supports effective planning and scheduling, helping teams stay on track and meet deadlines.
NOTE: For this report to be effective each project has to have at least 1 start date entered in one of the tasks in the project's DO phase. Without this, the linear time line display will not appear
